![]() ![]() Quick Draw McGraw is my personal favorite Hanna-Barbera character though he's rather dumb, he is extremely hilarious and so full of life and perseverance that you can't help but love him. What really makes the show stand out are the characters they are all engaging, lovable and well made. The comedic timing is perfect, and Michael Maltese did an excellent job participating in making the characters come to life. The background music, which is western themed, is also appealing. The animation is great, and the colors are earth tones – which fits the western theme perfectly. Being a huge fan of classic television animation, I came across this program online, and I have to say that it's my very favorite Hanna-Barbera cartoon show Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, and The Flintstones are favorites of mine as well. He also appeared in Yogi Bear's All Star Comedy Christmas Caper, with other characters such as Doggie Daddy, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, Snooper and Blabber, Hokey Wolf and Quick-Draw McGraw. He appears In Yo Yogi! as a Supporting Character Alongside his father Diamond Doggie Daddy, and as a major character in " Yogi's Treasure Hunt". Augie appears in the " Laff-a-Lympics" TV series as a member of the Yogi Yahooeys, alongside his father. Augie also has a talent for finding animals who are looking for a home.Īugie is a highly spirited pup who is motivated by ambition and the desire to make his father proud. He possesses some knowledge in science and the ability to converse with animals, Augie would often capitalize upon his father's foibles. He is very smart, and loves his "Dear Old Dad". He was also a member of " Yogi's Treasure Hunters", a heroic treasure hunting group, that would usually try to get the treasure before Dick Dastardly and Muttley would. He would later appear as a member of The Yogi Yahooeys, alongside his father and their other friends who joined. He is usually seen trying to bring animals home. He made his debut on The Quick-Draw McGraw Show sister Segment: Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy. (Such as a shrinking potion or a potion that makes you with the ability to become airborne). He has the ability to converse with other animals, in some episodes he is Seen making potions. He seems to be a very smart kid for his age. He sometimes shames his father into foolhardy acts to prove his bravery. He is typically seen wearing only a green shirt.
